Customs declaration response times may be delayed because of a suspected technical issue affecting RCC Port Klang, according to a Dagang Net customer notification dated 26 August 2026.
The notice covers customs-related communities in Port Klang, Penang, Perak, Kedah and Perlis for K1, K2, K9, Manifest and DutyPayment matters. It remains in effect until further notice.
What businesses should do now
For urgent declarations, Dagang Net advises customers to follow their existing Standard Operating Procedures. Importers, exporters, customs agents and freight forwarders handling time-sensitive cargo should monitor declaration status closely, prepare supporting documents early, and maintain communication with their customs agent, carrier and trucker.
What this notice does not say
The notification does not confirm a complete customs-system shutdown, that all submissions are unavailable, or that port gates and terminal operations are closed. It also does not specify a resolution time. Continue checking Dagang Net updates and confirm urgent cases through the stated support channels.
