BackHaul Connect
FAQ

Answers, before you ask.

If you have a different question — investor, or otherwise — write to support@backhaul.thebigdays.com.

Do I need to download an app?

No separate Backhaul Connect app is required. Use Telegram or WhatsApp, or open the web app. Verification uses Telegram or WhatsApp and includes a short profile setup — no password or SMS.

Is my phone number visible to strangers?

No. Your contact details stay private and are only shared after the Post owner accepts an Interest and creates a Match — not before.

What does it cost?

Backhaul Connect does not process payment or sit in the middle of the transaction. If pricing changes later, users will be told clearly before any paid feature goes live.

How do I get paid, or pay?

Directly between you and the matched party. Backhaul Connect doesn't process payment or sit in the middle of the transaction — you arrange it the same way you would over WhatsApp or a phone call.

How is this different from a broker or a WhatsApp group?

Same idea — connecting an empty lorry with a nearby load — but searchable, and not limited to whichever groups or contacts you happen to already be in. Smart Auto Matching can also surface compatible jobs along a transporter's declared empty route, within the detour limit they set.

Where does Backhaul Connect operate?

Backhaul Connect currently operates in West Malaysia, with early outreach focused on the Klang–Penang–JB corridor. People elsewhere can register country interest so we know where to expand next.

Do I have to add my company name?

No. Your company name is optional. If you prefer not to disclose it, simply leave the field blank. If you add it, it remains private until a Match is confirmed, when it can help the matched party recognise your business.

Will there be a mobile app?

Yes — a dedicated Backhaul Connect app is coming soon. For now you can use it in Telegram, WhatsApp, or the web app, with no separate install required.

Will Backhaul Connect offer a payment option?

Yes — in-platform payment is on our roadmap. Today you settle directly with the matched party; when payment features are ready, we'll tell you clearly before anything goes live.
