Johor Port has issued advance notice of a tentative early-morning pause for Main Gate and Container Terminal operations during its TOS migration. Pasir Gudang logistics teams should plan movement windows early and watch for the final advisory.
Published 15 August 2026

Johor Port currently plans to pause Main Gate and Container Terminal operations from 00:01 to 07:00 on Sunday, 4 October 2026 for a Terminal Operating System (TOS) upgrade. The timing remains tentative and subject to Johor Port’s final confirmation.
What Johor Port currently plans
Johor Port Berhad’s advance notice says the temporary pause will support the TOS migration and cutover. Operations under the new system are expected to commence from 07:00, subject to successful completion.
What is expected to continue normally
Free Zone and Bulk & Breakbulk operations are expected to continue normally. The notice asks port users to plan vessel schedules, container deliveries, collections and related logistics arrangements in advance.
What Pasir Gudang logistics teams should do
Hauliers, freight forwarders, importers and exporters should confirm collection and delivery windows early, brief drivers and customers about the possible gate interruption, and allow contingency time around overnight or early-morning movements.
Do not treat the stated window as final. Follow Johor Port’s final advisory before committing to arrangements that cannot be changed.
